About this Site and Author
This website is where I spend (likely too much) time documenting my interests, such as home theater, home automation and woodworking. My main goal is to capture my interests for my reference. If, at the same time, it’s at least a tiny bit entertaining and occasionally helpful to others, that would be nice—although this information may end up just being confusing!
Interests and Hobbies:

A Little About Me
A Couple of Career Highlights
2015-2024
Intel Corp.
Radio Network Interface Design Manager: I managed a team of engineers focused on designing and testing some integrated circuit components used in cellular infrastructure (e.g., cell tower antenna equipment). We used a programming language called System Verilog and a specific verification method called UVM (Universal Verification Methodology) to ensure our designs were accurate. Our projects included developing high-speed communication protocols and handling data transfers at speeds of 100Gbps. I also participated in developing an industry standard for Open Radio Access Networks (O-RAN) and JESD protocols.
1998-2014
Lucent/Agere/LSI Corp.
Telecom Network Interface Design Manager: I led a team of engineers focused on creating advanced integrated circuit components for cellular base stations (that control the operation of a cell tower), which is crucial for mobile phone communications. We worked on various networking technologies, including Ethernet with security and encryption features and other high-speed interface protocols to transfer data between subsystems. My primary responsibilities included designing the logic circuits (using Verilog RTL) and ensuring they functioned correctly through thorough testing and validation.
